At Anthesis, we guide our clients on sustainable transformation journeys, supporting them in taking the next steps toward a more sustainable future, for their business and for the planet.
In this work, it’s important we also hold a mirror to our own business, assessing where we can make the greatest impact, and what we’re doing to make that impact a reality. That’s why we’re thrilled to release our Sustainable Performance Baseline Report, a pivotal step in this journey.

"Our new Sustainable Performance strategy, launched in this Report, is not an add-on to our business. It is the lens through which we live up to our purpose, position ourselves in the market, and design transformational solutions for our Clients."
We’re also pleased to be sharing this month a deep dive into our Carbon Projects, looking beyond emissions and focusing on their real-world impact. Discover these two reports, and additional valuable insights from our sustainability experts, below.

Our new Baseline Report defines our Sustainable Performance reporting strategy, establishing a clear path forward and setting out how we will measure progress with transparency, consistency, and accountability. We have chosen to focus the report on what we believe are the four defining Global Transitions of our time:
Looking back on our recent carbon projects, we’re proud to have continued showcasing leadership in carbon innovation, marked by important milestones. As a key example, our AgriCarbon project became the second project globally – and the first in Africa – to be registered under Verra’s latest framework. Further, despite increasing complexity in standards and verification, we achieved third-party validation and successful credit issuance, revealing our agility and readiness to meet market demands and expectations.
In 2024, we helped better protect nearly 248,000 hectares of forest through innovative carbon projects – that’s over 3 times the area of New York City.
You can learn more about this progress and the impacts of our projects worldwide in our new report.
In a recent JUST IN episode of our Activating Sustainability podcast, host Chris Peterson connects with Anthesis experts Debbie Hitchen and Ana Gutierrez Loscos on COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Together, they unpack key themes that shaped this year’s conference, focusing on climate finance and circularity. Our experts share what they’re watching, what progress is emerging, and what’s still needed to shift from ambition to implementation.
Join Anthesis experts for an exploratory webinar on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting in the changing sustainability landscape. As regulatory, market, and stakeholder expectations rapidly evolve, GHG accounting – guided by frameworks such as the GHG Protocol – is becoming more complex and more critical than ever.
