Anthesis Group Adds More Sustainability Leaders to Expand its Global Sustainability Team

05 June 2014

Anthesis Group, the rapidly expanding global sustainability consultancy, has made three senior appointments to further bolster its global team. The move follows the acquisition of SecondNature, the fourth acquisition that Anthesis has made in the past six months as it grows its global consultancy offering.

Ben Tuxworth

Ben joins Anthesis as a Director in the Group’s Strategy and Communications services team.  Joining from sustainability communications consultancy Salter Baxter, Ben will work closely with Best Foot Forward founder Nicky Chambers and SecondNature founder Charles Perry, to hone Anthesis’ offering in this area.  A former Communications Director with Forum for the Future, Ben brings a wealth of experience on strategy, communications planning, reporting, materiality and stakeholder engagement to the Anthesis team.

Julian Parfitt

An acknowledged specialist in the field of waste and resources management policy, Julian has joined to help lead this area.  Julian’s career in the waste policy space includes working for WRAP, Resource Futures and Oakdene Hollins.  He will help build Anthesis’ competence in waste reduction through the value chain and packaging.

Fiona Place

Also joining Anthesis’ global team is Fiona Place, who joins as Principal Consultant to support the development of Anthesis’ product and supply chain services division.  With a rich background leading client relationships in the resources, retail and financial services sectors, Fiona has focussed on corporate and product assessment, and brings considerable skills in assessing resilience and enhancement opportunities throughout the value chain.

Stuart McLachlan, Chief Executive Officer of Anthesis said:

“We’re delighted to welcome three seasoned sustainability leaders to our team at a time when we are expanding our competence to solve both strategic and operational sustainability challenges.   Anthesis helps clients embed sustainable practices and Ben, Julian and Fiona further build our capacity to deliver valuable client solutions.”
