We are pleased to announce that the environmental management systems (EMS) for five of our UK offices – Oxford, London, Manchester, Macclesfield, Tormarton – are now certified to ISO 14001:2004. Extending the scope of our previous ISO 14001:2004-certified EMS across the UK is a key part of our 2016 sustainability plan. The EMS applies to the management of our environmental aspects related to ‘the management of Anthesis UK offices in providing sustainability consultancy services to public and private organizations’.
Having an ISO 14001-certified EMS ensures we put environmental impact of our operations at the front and center of what we do. These impacts may be small, but they are where our control is greatest, and as we point out to many of our clients, it’s vital that an organization understands and manages operational impact if it wants to be credible on broader sustainability ambitions.
