Manchester City Football Club (MCFC) is a premier league football club in the UK. The club was keen to produce a video that portrayed the diversity of its community program; the enthusiasm of the club, staff and volunteers; and the benefits to the community, individuals and the club itself.
Key to the video’s success was understanding the audience and purpose. As well as promoting the good work of the club, the video needed to demonstrate benefits to the club to help engage internal stakeholders. The video also needed to have a long shelf-life to ensure the investment was worthwhile.
Anthesis (then trading as M4C) fed all of this into a detailed story board which ensured we captured the right content when shooting. We filmed a wide range of the clubs activities – from tea dances and after-school centers to local suppliers and disabled football programs which was edited down to the final 5 minute video.
The final product is a high quality engaging video to meet MCFC's brief which is now widely used for presentations and promotions.
“The team embraced our product and message so that it would meet our needs and have a shelf-life to match. They achieved everything within budget and to timescale. Not only would I use Anthesis (then trading as M4C) again, but, on the basis of my project, I would recommend their work, input and results.”
