Kingfisher is Europe's leading home improvement retailer with over 900 stores in eight countries in Europe and Asia. Kingfisher wanted to make its employees think about their environmental impacts both at the office and at home. Anthesis (then trading as M4C) designed a fun, light-hearted intranet-based campaign which encouraged staff to pledge to make simple changes in their lifestyles.
Kingfisher staff also found that they were regularly asked to present their 'Corporate Responsibility story' and nine times out of ten they had too much to say in too little time. M4C developed a standard presentation which provided a consistent, concise message which appeals to a range of audiences.
Finally, M4C developed a creative, informative presentation tool to communicate to staff the company's current carbon footprint, actions taken to reduce it, areas of further improvement, and future proposed strategic activities.
