Helping America’s Cup go Carbon Neutral

13 September 2013

Anthesis was commissioned by the America's Cup Event Authority (ACEA) to calculate its baseline carbon footprint, quantify reduction measures and prepare the necessary declarations and documentation to ensure compliance with PAS 2060, the only independent standard for demonstrating carbon neutrality1.

The full carbon footprint report and PAS 2060 declaration of intent can be found here.

The carbon credits used to offset the residual carbon footprint are to be provided by Offsetters.

“Anthesis was instrumental in helping us develop a robust carbon management strategy and quantify our carbon footprint. With the support of Craig and his team, as well as our Official Carbon Credit Supplier Offsetters, we were able to achieve a carbon neutral America’s Cup event in San Francisco.”

– Jill Savery, ACEA’s Head of Sustainability
