Sinopoly Battery Limited is engaged in the production, sales, and research and development (R&D) of "Rare Earth Lithium-Ion Batteries". The company is listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the company holds exclusive rights to use a series of international patents for Lithium-ion cells. Sinopoly’s products are predominantly used in Electric Vehicle (EV) and Stationary Storage applications, so they are helping to make transport more sustainable.

Although Sinopoly was active in international markets and relatively well known in its home Chinese market, the company did not hold direct customer relationships in the United Kingdom or Continental Europe.
